Kazoo Films picks up GFM Animation’s Stitch Head

NEWS BRIEF: Kazoo Films, the kids and family animated feature distribution company launched by independent production company Cantilever Media, is further expanding its slate of animated family movies, picking up the rights to Stitch Head from GFM Animation.

Kazoo will release the film in the UK and Ireland in Q1 2026, marking the distributor’s third saturation theatrical release in six months. Stitch Head is based on the best-selling children’s book series, written by Guy Bass and illustrated by Pete Williamson, and was adapted and directed by Steve Hudson.
