Jupiter Entertainment promotes Chris Spry to senior VP of development

Sky Studios-backed US indie Jupiter Entertainment has promoted Chris Spry to senior VP of development.

Spry joined Jupiter in 2020 as VP of development, helping the prodco in its plan to expand its premium lifestyle offering, while developing and selling docs and series for Red Bull Studios, A&E and Discovery+, among others.

In his new role, Spry will be responsible for developing fresh content across multiple genres for linear and streaming platforms and amplifying Jupiter’s premium doc portfolio.

He is currently working across recently announced docuseries Chicano Squad (working title) with filmmaker Lawrence Bender for Tplus and shepherding an unannounced true crime project for NBCUniversal streamer Peacock.
