Julie Dansker, Daniel Gagliardi land top sales and distribution roles at Radial Entertainment

Radial Entertainment, the LA-based studio and streaming outfit formed through the merger of FilmRise and Shout! Studios, has handed new roles to veteran execs Julie Dansker and Daniel Gagliardi.

Dansker, previously the senior VP of streaming and content strategy at Shout! Studios, has been appointed as Radial’s co-head of sales, distribution and strategy and executive VP of global licensing and international distribution.

Gagliardi, formerly the executive VP of global streaming distribution and strategy at FilmRise, has been named as Radial’s co-head of sales, distribution and strategy and executive VP of North American digital distribution.

Both will report to Radial Entertainment’s chief revenue and strategy officer Johnny Holden.

Radial was formed in July when US asset management firm Oaktree Capital Management took over New York-based streaming and distribution outfit FilmRise and merged it with the Shout! Studios, the film and TV distributor it already owned. The combined company now has a library of 70,000 movies and TV episodes.
