UK sales outfit Jetpack Distribution has acquired the exclusive worldwide rights to three six-episode seasons of a teen sci-fi thriller, marking its first foray into live-action programming.

The Cul de Sac, produced by New Zealand-based Greenstone TV, originally aired on local network TVNZ2. The show targets nine- to 16-year-olds and families.

It centres on Rose, who wakes one day to find that the adults in her world have mysteriously vanished.

The cast includes Greta Gregory (The Brokenwood Mysteries), KJ Apa (Riverdale) and Beulah Koale (Hawaii Five-O, Thank You for Your Service).
