Jetix takes on new creative director

Anil Mistry has been named creative director of Jetix Europe to spearhead the creative direction of the Jetix brand and on-air promotional strategies for key shows.

Reporting to Shari Donnenfeld, senior VP of marketing and communications at Jetix Europe, Mistry will work closely with Jetix Europe’s channels and businesses across Europe and the Middle East, providing strategic and creative guidance to ensure appealing on-air branding and promotion in 58 countries.

In addition, Mistry will work with Jetix creative teams outside Europe on the brand’s evolution.

Mistry, who joins Jetix Europe from design agency Liquid TV, where he was senior creative, replaces Tim Robinson, who was appointed creative director in 2003 to aid the transition from Fox Kids to Jetix. Robinson will remain in the industry as a consultant.
