Resilient Content, the US prodco formed earlier this year by unscripted veteran Jeff Collins, is in development on a docuseries following the life and career of American singer JoJo Siwa.

The project will focus on 21-year-old Siwa’s evolution from a child star to an adult artist and entrepreneur.

At the beginning of her career, Siwa appeared in Dance Moms and its spinoff series Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, which were created and produced by Collins’ former company Collins Avenue Productions.

On the TV front, Siwa recently featured as a judge on season 18 of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, produced by Sony Pictures Television – Nonfiction’s (SPTNF) 19 Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions.

The announcement comes less than two months after Collins revealed the launch of his new banner, which has an overall deal with SPTNF.

The new prodco will create unscripted and entertainment programmes and leverage SPTNF’s production resources and infrastructure.
