ITVX deals with Anime Ltd, CBS Reality

NEWS BRIEF: UK commercial broadcaster ITV has agreed content deals with Glasgow-based anime licensor Anime Ltd and true crime specialist CBS Reality for its soon-to-launch streaming offer ITVX.

The agreement with Anime will make ITVX the free-to-air home of 500 episodes and 200 hours of a selection of anime television series and films including Cowboy Bebop. Drawing from the library of CBS Reality, a True Crime UK section of the streamer’s offer will provide ITVX with an additional 200 hours of true crime content at launch, and a further 50 hours in 2023.
