Oscar Pistorius: The Interview

ITV in the UK will air a one-off programme featuring an exclusive interview with Oscar Pistorius, the former Paralympian who shot and killed his girlfriend on Valentine’s day in 2013.

In Oscar Pistorius: The Interview the South African will speak to investigative journalist Mark Williams-Thomas about the night he shot and killed Reeva Steenkamp.

The interview comes as he prepares to return to jail having been convicted of murder after his original conviction of culpable homicide was overturned by South Africa’s Supreme Court.

The Shiver and Syco production will be shown on Friday, June 24, at 21.00 (GMT) on the commercial broadcaster. The Steenkamp family were asked to take part in the programme but declined.
