ITV Studios-owned unscripted prodco Twofour unveils new leadership structure

ITV Studios (ITVS)-owned unscripted prodco Twofour has unveiled a new leadership structure, after former CEO Tim Carter was promoted to MD of all UK unscripted at ITVS last month.

David Brindley, who joined Twofour as chief creative officer in 2020, replaces Carter as the prodco’s new CEO, responsible for overall strategy, vision and growth.

Creative director David Clews replaces Brindley as chief creative officer, leading Twofour’s creative strategy and developing and delivering new IP.

MD Dan Adamson takes on the newly-created role of chief content officer, where he will lead on blending the editorial and the commercial, creating new shows and building them into global brands.

Director of production Shireen Abbott is promoted to the newly-created role of chief of production, leading the expansion of the production management team behind the delivery of Twofour’s slate, while also driving the company’s operational strategy.

The management team is completed by Jake Roberts who remains financial director, with oversight for financial strategy, planning and operations.

Twofour continues to operate out of London and Plymouth. Its slate of shows includes Destination X, which recently launched on NBC in the US and is coming soon to the BBC in the UK, The Reluctant Traveler (Apple TV+), I Kissed a Boy and I Kissed a Girl (BBC) and Educating Yorkshire (Channel 4).
