ITV Studios bolsters global partnerships team with key APAC and EMEA hires

ITV Studios has added Ed Love, Jonathan South and Patrick Phelan to its teams in the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions as it aims to strengthen its international partnerships and distribution strategy across key territories.

Love joins as senior VP for APAC, bringing expertise in digital strategy and content partnerships. He previously served as head of Samsung TV Plus, Australia New Zealand and South-east Asia, where he led the company’s FAST and AVoD platforms across the APAC region. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at MGM, as exec director of sales, and at Foxtel, where he was acquisition manager.

South and Phelan are joining the EMEA team and reporting to senior VP David Wilcox.

South, formerly senior sales exec for the Americas, Spain and Portugal at Hat Trick International, assumes the role of VP for the Nordics and Benelux, focusing on driving sales and strategic partnerships across the two regions.

His previous roles include senior VP and head of EMEA at Electus and director of worldwide sales and head of non-scripted and alternative programming UK at Televisa.

Phelan will take on the role of VP for German-speaking territories, spearheading commercial efforts across the region and overseeing Central and Eastern Europe.

He most recently served as head of international sales at Leonine Studios and has experience in the region as VP of sales at Sky Vision, director of sales liaison at NBCUniversal, VP of international sales at Sonar Entertainment and senior sales manager at StudioCanal TV/Tandem Communications.
