Beth Hart and Alex Mavroidakis

ITV Studios Australia has promoted Alex Mavroidakis to creative director and Beth Hart to chief content officer.

Mavroidakis, who joined the Oz arm of the UK broadcaster’s production and distribution subsidiary in 2014, was previously supervising executive producer. His credits include The Apprentice, The Amazing Race, The X Factor and Medical Emergency.

Mavroidakis will continue to work under Hart across the reality production slate.

Hart, formerly head of content, will now oversee the creative process across the entire production slate, including ITV Studios formats I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Love Island, The Voice, My Kitchen Rules, Alone, The Chase, My Mum Your Dad, Inside Sydney Airport and This Is Your Life. Hart continues to report to CEO and MD David Mott.

The content division under Hart has also expanded, with Keely Sonntag appointed head of unscripted and Evan Wilkes joining as unscripted executive.

Sonntag joins ITV Studios after leaving her role as executive producer at Banijay Endemol Shine Australia, where she worked across local versions of MasterChef, Survivor, Love Triangle, Big Brother, Next Top Model and Ambulance.

Wilkes has held senior roles at Beyond Productions, Eureka Productions and Seven Studios, serving as EP on Luxe Listings Sydney, Byron Baes, My Kitchen Rules and House Rules.

Meanwhile ITV Studios Australia’s head of production, Donna Foster, a 15-year veteran of the studio, has been promoted to director of production.

Foster’s former position will be filled by Sarah Roberts, who returns to ITV Studios down under following a stint as head of production at Banijay Endemol Shine Australia.
