ITV secures Oprah’s royal interview

UK commercial broadcaster ITV has acquired Oprah With Meghan & Harry, the Oprah Winfrey interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Produced by Winfrey’s US prodco Harpo Productions, the two-hour special is scheduled to air on Sunday on the CBS Television Network in the US, while ITV will broadcast it on Monday at 21.00.

Oprah With Meghan & Harry will see the talkshow host speak to the Duchess of Sussex in a wide-ranging interview covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.

Prince Harry will join the interview later and speak about the couple’s move to the US, as well as their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.

The special is executive produced by Terry Wood and Tara Montgomery, with Brian Piotrowicz serving as co-executive producer. ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group is distributing the show internationally.
