ITV rebrands ITVBe as ITV Quiz, moves reality originals to ITV2

Structured reality series The Only Way Is Essex

NEWS BRIEF: UK commercial broadcaster ITV is retiring its ITVBe channel brand and moving its original commissions, such as The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) and The Real Housewives of Cheshire, to ITV2.

The move will take place in June. ITV plans to use the channel slot as ITV Quiz, drawing on its archive of UK quiz and game shows. TOWIE and The Real Housewives franchise will become part of an ITV2 line-up including formats Love Island and Big Brother, animated comedies like Family Guy and original commissions G’Wed and Transaction.
