ITV rebrands in Asia

Asian entertainment network ITV Granada will change its name in March as part of a company-wide rebrand.

The channel was launched in the Middle East in 2008 as Granada TV and changed to ITV Granada in 2010. It is now available in seven million homes across 40 countries.

From March, the channel, part of ITV Studios Global Entertainment, will change its name to ITV Choice. It will continue to carry shows from the ITV Studios library, including Agatha Christie’s Poirot, Endeavour, Lewis and Midsomer Murders, as well as entertainment series including Dancing On Ice, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and The Jonathan Ross Show.

The move follows a similar change of identity for ITV’s Australian production arm Granada Media Australia, which became ITV Studios Australia in December.
