ITN productions bolsters factual programming with two exec producers

London-based ITN Productions has made two new appointments to strengthen its international and domestic factual businesses.

Mike Griffiths

Mike Griffiths is joining as international executive producer and Claudine Parrish has been named UK factual executive producer.

Griffiths brings a wealth of experience in international production and programme development, most recently at Raw, where he was VP of US factual programming.

Over the past decade, he has developed and overseen a range of programmes, including National Geographic’s specialist factual adventure shows Eating with Cannibals and The Witchdoctor Will See You Now, Sky1’s Gadget Geeks and Discovery+’s Auto Biography.

At Raw, Griffiths created and produced returning Discovery Channel hits Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine, which is now in its fourth season, and Homestead Rescue, now in its seventh run. Prior to that, he was a producer of UK TV hits such as Brainiac: Science Abuse and Relentless. Griffiths will report to Ian Russell, head of international programmes.

Claudine Parrish

Parrish, who joins ITN Productions in September, has worked for all the major UK broadcasters, producing and directing a raft of popular documentaries, factual entertainment formats, current affairs shows and lifestyle features.

She is currently producing the revamped 20-part series of Married at First Sight for E4. Last summer, she produced Inside Poundland, ITN Productions’ two-part Channel 4 hit.

Parrish’s other credits include Great British Menu for BBC2, A Berry Royal Christmas for BBC1, The British Tribe Next Door for C4, ITV2’s Educating Joey Essex, Benefits by the Sea for Channel 5 and BBC documentary Ice Town: Life on the Edge. She will report to MD Ian Rumsey.
