MindTOONness is being produced by Italian animation company Vismanimation

Italian animation company Vismanimation is adapting psychologist Luca Mazzucchelli and illustrator Giulia Telli’s mental health-focused book series SerenaMente into an animated series for kids.

The adaptation, called MindTOONness, is aimed at children aged between three and nine and their families.

The 10×25’ 2D animated series is written by Valentina Mazzola and follows the adventures of a variety of diverse animals, with stories aiming to promote personal growth and help children overcome emotional obstacles.

Vismanimation will pitch MindTOONness to buyers at Cartoon Forum in Toulouse next month.
