Italian kids’ network Boing gets first children’s edition of Wild Things gameshow

Boing’s version of Wild Things is produced by Banijay Italia

Italian kids’ channel Boing, a joint venture between RTI Mediaset and Warner Bros Discovery, has commissioned the first children’s edition of gameshow format Wild Things.

Produced by Banijay Italia, the kids’ version will see pairs of contestants head into the forest to tackle obstacle courses and imaginative challenges. The pairs will consist of one child and one adult family member.

The adults will be dressed in comical woodland creature costumes and will be unable to see anything. To triumph and take home the prize, the children must show communication skills, patience and trust in their partner, all while trying to be the fastest.

The original Wild Things was created by Banijay UK’s IWC Media, Mad Monk and GroupM Entertainment for Sky One, where it premiered in 2015.

The format has been adapted in eight territories, including Sweden, Argentina and China.
