Investigation Discovery renews Octavia Spencer docuseries

NEWS BRIEF: Warner Bros Discovery (WBD)-owned network Investigation Discovery has renewed a pair of Octavia Spencer-produced docuseries, Lost Women and Feds, for second seasons.

Both true crime shows are produced by Spencer’s Orit Entertainment and October Films and premiered initially in November 2023. The Lost Women franchise focuses on police cases that examine the treatment of women in society, while Feds goes behind the scenes of the FBI. Spencer is exec producer on both shows and the narrator of Lost Women.
