Int’l nets get Inside the Ambulance

Inside the Ambulance aired on UKTV’s Really channel

Broadcasters around the world have picked up programming produced for UKTV about the country’s emergency services through deals with distributor DRG.

Seasons four, five and six of Inside the Ambulance, which uses fixed-rig cameras to give a unique perspective on emergency call-outs, launched together at Mipcom 2018 and 60 episodes are now available.

Foxtel (Australia), TV4 (Sweden), S+ (Portugal) and Alliant Content (Latin American and Indian VoD) have all acquired season four, while New Zealand’s Sky TV has acquired season four, five and six. The show is produced by Brown Bob Productions for UKTV’s Really channel.

Helicopter ER, which follows the work of flying doctors and paramedics of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service in the UK, has also been sold to TV4, Sky TV and Alliant Content, as well as Vitaya (Belgium).

Discovery Poland, Alliant Content (US/Canadian VoD), S+ and adRise (US VoD) have also recently acquired the first season of the show, which is produced by Air Television for Really.

Elsewhere, the third season of Cops, which follows British police forces using bodycams, has been picked up by TV2 (Norway), Sky TV, BBC Studios (Poland) and Total Content (US). The show is produced by Rawcut TV production for UKTV’s W network.
