European networks have acquired the first season of a medieval-themed gameshow from Canadian distributor Distribution360’s (D360) growing slate of children’s programming.

Gulli in France and Czech TV have picked up the first season of Splatalot (52×30′), which sees six gladiators protect a castle from groups of teenagers.

Elsewhere, TV Prima in Malaysia has taken Japanizi: Going, Going, Gong! (40×30′), while EBS in South Korea has picked up the shortform preschool properties Alphabet Stories (26×1’30”) and Youniverse (26×2’15”).

The sales come as Marblemedia-owned D360 prepares for MipJunior next month, having added two Canadian preschool series to its slate of kids’ and family programming.

Adventure series YaYa & Zouk (78×5′) is produced by ToonDraw Productions in association with Société Radio-Canada and Yoopa in Canada.

Nico Can Dance (65×2′), meanwhile, is an animated/live-action mixed media series that encourages creative movement and bright imagination.

It is produced by Atomic Cartoons in association with Knowledge Network, Telus and BBC Kids.
