International remakes of Your Honor continue with ATM Grupa set to make Polish version

CONTENT WARSAW: Leading Polish prodco ATM Grupa (The Pack) is to produce a local language adaptation of Israeli legal thriller Your Honor.

The news was announced as C21’s Content Warsaw gets underway today, with senior TV executives from Central and Eastern Europe set to attend the second edition of the development marketplace and conference.

The Polish version of Your Honor, which has the local working title of Sezdia, is the 12th international version after previous adaptations in the US, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, Russia and India.

In February, the scripted format became the first Israeli drama to be adapted in China, while 1+1 Media in Ukraine is adapting it for local audiences.

Your Honor was originally created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach and produced by Yes TV and Koda Communications in Israel. The plot follows a respected senior judge whose son is involved in a hit-and-run accident, leading to difficult choices, moral dilemmas and terrible consequences as he attempts to keep the crime a secret.

No commissioning broadcaster or platform for the Polish version has been revealed at this stage. Israeli distributor Yes Studios represents the format worldwide.
