International nets including Sky, CBC visit Sinking Ship for kids’ shows

Kids’ sci-fi conservation series Endlings

International broadcasters including Sky in the UK and Canada’s the CBC have acquired children’s shows from Toronto-based prodco Sinking Ship Entertainment.

Sky has acquired puppet series Playdate, which is produced for WildBrain, while the CBC has picked up the first two seasons of maths comedy series Odd Squad for its streaming platform CBC Gem.

Odd Squad is produced by Sinking Ship and Fred Rogers Productions for PBS Kids in the US and Canada’s TVO Kids.

TVP in Poland has bought both seasons of sci-fi conservation series Endlings, produced for CBC Kids and Hulu, while e-Junior in the UAE has renewed Odd Squad and picked up animation Alma’s Way, produced by Fred Rogers Productions for PBS Kids.
