Insight TV expands Lisette Schlippe’s role to oversee FAST content strategy

Dutch unscripted channels operator and content producer Insight TV has promoted Lisette Schlippe to global VP of free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) and content.

The move comes after Schlippe joined the Amsterdam-based Millennial- and Gen Z-targeting outfit as commissioning editor in April from Red Bull Media House.

Schlippe now leads Insight TV’s FAST strategy and oversees key FAST accounts, as well as driving the development of original content and commissioning efforts.

Her expanded responsibilities come as Insight TV focuses on genres including travel and food, adventure and outdoors, factual, auto and sports.

Schlippe’s promotion follows her instrumental role in shaping Insight TV’s Mipcom slate, which featured more than 22 titles and 170 hours of programming.

This followed Insight TV’s pivot toward coproductions and third-party programming, having shut down its in-house production unit late last year as a cost-cutting measure.

Schlippe was previously head of global content partnerships at Red Bull Media House, and her other roles have included director of content licensing for Germany, Benelux and CEE at Turner Broadcasting and a stint at Endemol Shine International.
