Insight TV takes millennial-skewing sport, lifestyle, food and tech to MipTV

American football’s Leilani Caamal in Breakthrough: Women Changing the Game

The distribution arm of Amsterdam-based broadcaster Insight TV is heading to MipTV next month shopping shows that it says aim to break stereotypes and promote themes such as sustainability.

With a catalogue featuring millennial-focused unscripted programming in genres such as sport, lifestyle, food and tech, Insight TV will be in Cannes with titles including Breakthrough: Women Changing the Game (6×60′) and Wild Food with Khanh Ong (10×44′).

The former features a diverse group of female athletes through make-or-break seasons in traditionally male-dominated sports such as NASCAR, horseracing, Formula 4 and American football.

Wild Food with Khanh Ong sees chef and DJ Ong travel to remote areas of Australia to explore local cultures and cuisines, with a focus on sustainable eating and the relationship between humans and their environment.

Other titles Insight TV will be bringing to MipTV, which runs from April 17 to 19 in Cannes, include Streetball with Kenny Dobbs, Paradise Kitchen: Bali, The Blockchain Life and A Simple Path.
