IN10 Media’s Gubbare ventures into originals with martial arts superhero series

Akki Jaanbaaz comes from Toonz Animation

Mumbai-based IN10 Media’s kids’ entertainment channel Gubbare has commissioned its first original, a show about the adventures of a martial arts superhero.

Produced by Toonz Animation, Akki Jaanbaaz will also be available on the network’s OTT platform Epic On.

Akki Jaanbaaz is the first title on a Gubbare originals slate that also includes upcoming series Roro aur Hero – Bhoot mast! Zabardast and Akul aur Nakul – The Asuras.

Brian D’Costa, assistant VP of content and strategy at Gubbare, said: “Since its launch in 2020, Gubbare has kept kids at the core, be it the characters or stories. The launch of the IPs is a significant milestone for us as we move towards garnering a larger share of the viewership pie.”
