ICM bolsters TV arm

US talent agency ICM has beefed up its international television and media division with two hires, affecting both its New York and Los Angeles offices.

The firm has taken on two television packaging agents, Gordon Hvolka and Lori York, while moving agent Shade Grant to the New York office. Pippa Lambert, based in London, will continue to oversee the department’s European activities.

Hvolka joins from Kaplan Stahler and his client list includes Skip Films, KPI, Brownstone Entertainment and Mitch Tanen (Sarah Palin’s Alaska); York previously worked at NS Bienstock and her list includes Sirens Media, Big Fish Entertainment, Zero Point Zero Productions and wedding planner Bryan Rafanelli.

ICM’s international TV and media division is led by former William Morris agent Greg Lipstone.

“The success generated by our clients in the international arena translates into enormous opportunities for directors, writers, talent and producers represented across the agency,” said Ted Chervin, head of worldwide television at ICM.
