Icflix lines up Tunisian film

Middle Eastern and North African VoD service Icflix is set to launch an original Tunisian social comedy movie.

WOH!, directed by Ismahane Lahmar, will be made available exclusively to Icflix subscribers globally after its theatrical release in early December.

The comedy follows the dysfunctional Tounsia family, whose matriarch loves her son to the point of enslaving the rest of the family.

WOH! will be Icflix’s second original Jazwood (Arabic) title produced in Tunisia following Borders of Heaven. It will join a line-up of originals that includes HIV, Al Makida, animation series Dunia and Burnout.

The film will be produced by Icflix, Hit Production and Ulysson Production.
