Hwang’s Something Special hires head of sales

NEWS BRIEF: Something Special, the South Korean development and distribution outfit launched in 2020 by K-format pioneers Jinwoo Hwang and SBS/FormatEast alumna InSoon Kim, has hired a new head of sales to shop its format worldwide.

Praise ChanMi Shin has worked for more than 12 years in international sales and marketing, most recently as global business director at AI firm Wata Inc and head of business strategy at webinar platform Hicomp International.

“Praise and the whole team will continue our efforts to connect wonderful people and create differentiated content for the world,” said former CJ ENM exec Hwang.
