Produced by noted showrunner Rosy Ocampo, Vencer El Pasado tells the story of four women whose lives are destroyed in an instant that is maliciously amplified on social media networks.

It was released in Mexico in 2021 and is the third instalment of the Volver franchise, after Vencer el Miedo and Vencer el Desamor. The franchise also featured Vencer la Ausencia and Vencer la Culpa.

The new instalment stars Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli along with Erika Buenfil, Manuel ‘Flaco’ Ibáñez, Ana Paula Martínez, Leticia Perdigón, Arantza Ruíz, Otto Sirgo and África Zavala.

Vivir de Amor, meanwhile, is a soap opera by Salvador Mejía, starring Kimberly Dos Ramos, Gala Montes and Emmanuel Palomares. It tells the story of two sisters who were separated at an early age.

TelevisaUnivision announced the TV2 deal on the first day of MipTV in Cannes, where it is shopping both series to international buyers.
