Hulu signs up to Camp Lakebottom

Hulu has acquired the exclusive US streaming rights to kids’ toon Camp Lakebottom from Canadian producer and distributor 9 Story Media Group.

Produced by 9 Story for Teletoon Canada and Disney XD in the US, the 26×22′ series follows a 12-year-old prankster who ends up at a spooky summer camp.

Other broadcasters to air the show include ABC TV in Australia, Super RTL in Germany and Canal+ Family in France and Africa.

Meanwhile, Dublin-based 9 Story Distribution International, which launched last year, has sold seasons six, seven and eight of Garfield & Friends (45×24′) to Hulu, after acquiring rights to the classic show last year.
