Hulu, Peacock both adopt Modern Family

Modern Family is being made available on SVoD for the first time

Disney-owned US streamer Hulu and NBCUniversal’s service Peacock have acquired all 11 seasons of sitcom Modern Family.

Under a multi-year shared agreement with Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution, Modern Family will be available on both SVoD offerings from February 3.

It also marks the first time the entire series has been available via SVoD in the US.

Modern Family follows the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan and stars Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ariel Winter, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sarah Hyland.

The series was produced by 20th Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions and Picador Productions for US broadcast network ABC, where it ended an 11-year run in 2020.
