Reporting to husband-and-wife team Eric and Shannon Evangelista, Holmes will oversee all aspects of production for unscripted and scripted series, as well as internal and external development and acquisitions.

Holmes’ other responsibilities include developing and pitching new projects to expand Hot Snakes’ portfolio, managing in-house producers and editors, vetting external producers and overseeing all current series through post production.

Holmes most recently served as VP of factual content for Discovery Network during the launch of streaming service Discovery+ and through the merger with WarnerMedia to form Warner Bros Discovery.

She was a lead content developer on recent Discovery+ series including Pig Royalty, Love Off the Grid and Million Dollar Wheels with Jamie Fox.

Prior to Discovery, Holmes was a development consultant, supervising producer and executive producer. She packaged, developed, sold to and produced projects for buyers including Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Discovery, MTV, HGTV and TLC.

Prior to her formal leadership position with Hot Snakes, Holmes co-developed and produced the Emmy-nominated Deaf U in partnership with the company for Netflix.

Holmes has also held senior development and executive positions at NBCUniversal-owned Esquire, where she was senior director of development, and National Geographic, where she was director of development. Holmes began her career as a development manager at Endemol Shine-owned Reveille Ent.

Last year Eric Evangelista joined forces with wildlife expert Forrest Galante to launch factual production company Phantasticus Pictures, which finances conservation work in exchange for filming rights.
