Horror picks up survival tips

NEWS BRIEF: Liberty Global-owned Chello Zone has picked up six survival movies for Horror Channel in Italy, including shipwrecked feature Three starring Billy Zane.

The films, which also include The Barber, Dead Meat, Gruesome, City of the Dead and Lost Things, were acquired from distributor Cinemavault and will air in 2012. The net launched in Italy last month and is also available in the UK.
