Hemisphere enjoys A Little Sunshine following deal with Turkey’s ATV

A Little Sunshine explores themes of motherhood, family bonds and hidden truths

US-based Hemisphere Media Group has inked a licensing deal with Turkey’s ATV Distribution for the latter’s drama A Little Sunshine, which is set to premiere in the US via Hemisphere’s platforms targeting the Hispanic and Latin American markets.

A Little Sunshine is a 117×45’ drama that “explores motherhood, family bonds and hidden truths,” according to ATV. The story follows a woman whose life is turned upside down by her husband’s sudden death, after which she discovers hidden financial debts and a young girl registered under her name.

The drama is an NGM production that debuted on ATV in 2022, and it was acquired by Chilean broadcaster Mega in 2023.

Miami-based Hemisphere will air the show on its US platforms which include cable networks Cinelatino, Pasiones, WAPA América, CentroAméricaTV and Televisión Dominicana. Hemisphere also operates WAPA TV in Puerto Rico, sports network WAPA Deportes, and WAPA Digital, as well as Latin American cable networks Cinelatino and Pasiones, and five FAST channels in the US.
