Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford to star in Yellowstone prequel 1932 for Paramount+

Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford will star in Paramount+’s Yellowstone prequel working titled 1932, which launches on the service this December.

Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions, 1932 follows last year’s Yellowstone prequel 1883.

1932 also comes from Yellowstone’s creator Taylor Sheridan and will introduce a new generation of the Dutton family, exploring the early 20th century, when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west.

Exec producing are Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David Glasser, Ron Burke, Bob Yari and Ben Richardson.
