HBO orders limited drama DTF St. Louis to series, starring Jason Bateman

Warner Bros Discovery-owned US cablenet HBO has ordered original limited drama DTF St. Louis to series.

Starring and exec produced by Jason Bateman and David Harbour, the seven-episode drama is described as a “darkly comedic limited series about a love triangle between three adults experiencing middle-age malaise, that leads to one of them ending up dead.”

DTF St. Louis comes from showrunner, writer, director and exec producer Steven Conrad (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Patriot). The production companies are MGM Television, Escape Artists and Bateman’s Aggregate Films.

Also exec producing are Escape Artists’ producers Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch, Aggregate Films’ partner Michael Costigan, Molly Allen, Bruce Terris, James Lasdun and Kristina Wenson.
