Hayu visits The Real Housewives of London in first original series commission

Hayu has commissioned a London-set version of The Real Housewives franchise

NBCUniversal-owned reality SVoD platform Hayu has commissioned a London-set version of The Real Housewives franchise.

The spin-off is Hayu’s first-ever commission of an original series and will premiere in late 2025. Casting is currently underway ahead of production starting in the new year.

UK-based prodco Monkey, which is owned by NBCU and produces the Cheshire- and Jersey-set versions of the franchise, will produce the series. The company is also behind long-running Channel 4 reality series Made In Chelsea.

London marks the 30^th iteration of the format, which began in the US in 2006 with The Real Housewives of Orange County.
