Goldner’s renewed contract will run through to the end of 2022, while Frascotti’s duties have been expanded to add chief operating officer to his current role.

Frascotti, who joined the company in 2008 as chief marketing officer, has also been appointed to Hasbro’s board of directors. Goldner joined Hasbro in 2000. He was appointed CEO in 2008 and chairman of the board in 2015.

Earlier this year the toyco acquired Power Rangers and several other entertainment brands owned by Saban Properties in a deal valued at US$522m.

These will be added to a library of IP that also includes Transformers and My Little Pony, alongside toy brands such as Nerf, Play-Doh and Monopoly.
