Hallmark, Dust, Fuse, Tastemade subs content heads to India via OTTplay

India’s OTTplay is launching four new subscriptions services operated by international brands Hallmark, Dust, Fuse and Tastemade.

Hallmark+, Dust, Fuse+ and Tastemade+ will be made available in India for the first time via an OTTplay premium subscription.

The four channels will be available alongside other Indian and international OTT platforms such as SonyLiv, Zee5, Lionsgate Play, Curiosity Stream, ShortsTV and DocuBay.

Hallmark+ will feature feel-good, romcom and family movies and dramas, while Gunpowder & Sky-operated Dust specialises in sci-fi content. Fuse+ targets a youth audience, while Tastemade+ features food, travel and design programming from around the world.

OTTplay co-founder Avinash Mudaliar said: “Gone are the days when watching foreign films and shows was a rare occurrence; today, the popularity of international shows and movies and the massive following of K-dramas in India reflects the growing appetite for international content.

“After months of focused research on the content gaps and viewer preferences, we concluded that Hallmark Movies Now, Dust sci-fi, Fuse+ and Tastemade+ are the new four platforms that would complement the already rich OTTplay premium subscription offerings.”
