Half Yard, Rick Ross link for reality show

Rick Ross has been nominated for multiple Grammys

Red Arrow Studios-owned US outfit Half Yard Productions has teamed up with hip-hop artist Rick Ross for a reality show focusing on a New Jersey family.

The as-yet-untitled series will follow the Fronzaglia family, who are heavily involved in local business and society. Ross will take a central role in the series, being in a relationship with the family’s eldest daughter.

The series is being developed by Half Yard’s Dirk Hoogstra and is Ross’s first project under his recently launched Lucky Bastard Media prodco. Franco Porporino Jr will serve as exec producer.

Hoogstra, the former general manager of A+E Networks’ History cablenet who joined Half Yard in 2019, said: “We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with such a living legend in the hip-hop industry as Rick Ross. Developing a docuseries that features Rick in his first TV series alongside the extraordinary Fronzaglia family promises to be factual entertainment television at its best.”
