Half Yard elevates Ayres

Say Yes to the Dress maker Half Yard Productions has promoted its director of development to an expanded role overseeing the Red Arrows Studios-owned US firm’s creative output.

Matt Ayres becomes VP of development with immediate effect, reporting to chief creative officer Nicole Sorrenti. His credits include Hillbilly Handfishin’, Raising Tourettes and The Last Alaskans.

Discovery recently commissioned Half Yard to produce two new spin-offs to Say Yes to the Dress, which is in its 16th season on TLC.

Say Yes to Nest and Say Yes to the Dress America will debut in January 2020 on HGTV and TLC respectively.
