Good Mood to adapt Call My Agent as La Agencia for Mediaset in Spain

Call My Agent ran for four seasons in France

Mediaset España has given the green light to comedy-drama series La Agencia (The Agency), an adaptation of France Télévisions’ Call My Agent.

The Spanish version will be produced by Daniel Écija’s production company, Good Mood, part of French group Mediawan which also owns the producers of the original series, Mon Voisin Productions and Mother Production.

Écija will oversee the executive production of La Agencia, which is currently in the pre-production and casting phase and is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

The series follows four agents at one of the country’s most important talent agencies as they deal with artists with complicated personal and family circumstances.

Call My Agent ran for four seasons in France on France 2 and was acquired by Netflix and channels in various other territories.

The new adaptation will be the second in Spanish. Mediawan, Elefantec Global and UnbeliEVAble Entertainment are preparing another version aimed at “key territories” in Spanish-speaking America, with Eva Longoria as director and executive producer.

Call My Agent has also been adapted in the UK, Italy, Turkey, India, Canada, South Korea and Poland, among other territories.
