Globosat inks 50-hour Sky deal

Brazilian pay TV broadcaster Globosat has inked a deal with UK-based Sky Vision for over 50 hours of factual programming.

The package includes Sky Arts series Talks Music (10×60’), produced by Whizz Kid Entertainment. The show is hosted by TV producer Malcolm Gerrie who interviews a range of music celebrities including Jeff Beck, Ray Davies and Debbie Harry.

The Brazilian firm will also broadcast aerial documentary series Canada: Over the Edge II (13×60’), which explores the country’s vast coastline from the air. The show is produced by Arcadia Content and first aired on Smithsonian Channel in Canada.

Also included in the package is Sky Vision Production’s Heroes of War (1×60’), which explores the lengths soldiers and civilians have gone to during conflicts to save their fellow countrymen.
