Ghosts, Tracker, Elsbeth among nine series renewals at CBS for 2025/26 season

CBS has ordered two more seasons of comedy Ghosts

US broadcaster CBS has renewed nine series for the 2025/26 season, including Justin Hartley-led Tracker, drama Fire Country, NCIS and a two-season order for comedy Ghosts.

Other titles renewed by the Paramount Global-owned network include Big Bang Theory spin-off Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Sydney, comedy-drama Elsbeth and Drew Barrymore-fronted unscripted show Hollywood Squares.

These orders come after CBS renewed legal drama Matlock and handed new series orders to Fire Country spin-off Sheriff Country, Blue Bloods spin-off Boston Blue and singing competition The Road, as well as stalwarts Survivor and The Amazing Race.

In addition, police procedural FBI was renewed through the 2026/27 broadcast season, meaning CBS has now confirmed 16 titles for the upcoming season.

“This season, our new and returning series continue to showcase CBS as the leader in launching and programming the biggest hits with mass appeal for broadcast and streaming viewers,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment.
