Germany’s Sat.1 checks into Banijay Productions’ Villa of Temptations

Germany’s Sat.1 has commissioned new reality competition format Villa of Temptations, hosted by former Miss Germany beauty pageant winner and actress Verona Pooth.

Produced by Banijay Productions Germany, it will premiere on Sat.1 on July 7 and stream on OTT service Joyn.

Villa of Temptations sees 14 celebrities move into what seems like paradise for two weeks – but appearances are deceptive.

Instead, they find basic living conditions and if they want more creature comforts, they’ll have to pay for them. However, every temptation is deducted from the prize money of €250,000 (US$283,000).
