Germany’s Beta Kids and Family gets On Board with Louise ahead of MipJunior

On Board with Louise is produced by Dubourcq Productions

Germany’s Beta Film kids and family label, Beta Kids and Family, has launched its slate of content for MipJunior next month, including Norwegian docuseries On Board with Louise and Hungarian feature film I Accidentally Wrote a Book.

Produced by Dubourcq Productions for Norway’s NRK, On Board with Louise (10×15’) follows a seven-year-old girl who lives with her family on a ship. Sailing to Senegal with a hospital below deck and her school above, Louise takes viewers on her adventures, from making friends with a child undergoing surgery, to playing with lion cubs ashore.

I Accidentally Wrote a Book (96’) is produced by Juno11 Pictures and based on Annet Huizing’s book about a teenager who dreams of becoming a writer. While her novelist neighbour helps her achieve that, she realises her own life is becoming a novel.

Beta Kids and Family’s MipJunior slate also includes the second seasons of live-action teen dramas Rumors (60×12’) and Prisma (16×45’), season two of live-action tween drama Glow (8×15’) and season six of the US remake of reality competition format All-Round Champion.

Completing Beta Kids and Family’s line-up is Dutch animated musical film Benjamin Bat (76’), about a sensitive bat who is afraid of the dark. The film is produced by Storytellers Film & TV and Zeilt Productions, in coproduction with Avrotros and il Luster.
