German Too Hot to Handle set to follow Brazilian, Spanish-language versions on Netflix

Dating format Too Hot to Handle

Netflix is expanding its dating format Too Hot to Handle to Germany having already launched Brazilian and Spanish-language spin-offs.

Too Hot to Handle: Germany will begin streaming on February 28 on Netflix, with UFA Show & Factual producing for the streamer.

The Fremantle-distributed format sees single adults placed together in a house for four weeks while being forbidden from any kissing, sexual contact or self-gratification, with the monetary prize reduced any time a rule is broken.

The original version of the format, currently in its fourth season, is produced by Fremantle-owned production companies Talkback and Thames and features contestants from the UK and the US. Netflix has also made versions featuring contestants from Brazil and Mexico.
