NEWS BRIEF: LA-based Genius Brands International is following up its recent investment in Germany’s Your Family Entertainment by expanding its Kartoon Channel’s global footprint across Latin America and MENA.

The Kartoon Genius two-hour, Monday-to-Friday programming block premiered this week across the Middle East and North Africa on pan-regional linear pay TV net Kartoon Channel dubbed into Arabic and English. On March 7, the block debuted throughout Central and South America on 24/7 linear, offering content such as Stan Lee’s Superhero Kindergarten in Spanish and English.
