FX Turkey, BluTV team up for crime drama

Aleph follows two Istanbul detectives investigating a series of murders

The Turkish version of US cablenet FX has joined forces with local pay TV operator BluTV on their first original crime drama series.

Aleph is an eight-parter shot in Istanbul about two detectives investigating a spate of murders, beginning with the discovery of a dead body in the Bosphorus.

The series comes from MAY Production and stars Kenan Imirzalioglu, Ahmet Mumtaz Taylan and Melisa Sozen, with Emin Alper directing. It is due to debut on FX Turkey – home to shows including The Walking Dead, American Horror Story and The Simpsons – in April.

BluTV also offers local originals like Bozkır (The Steppe), Masum (Innocent) and 7Yüz (7Faces) but Aleph is its first collaboration with FX.
