FX lifts Veil on Hulu series from Peaky Blinders creator, starring Elisabeth Moss

Disney-owned US cablenet FX has ordered a limited drama series written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and starring Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), exclusively for streaming service Hulu.

Knight will executive produce The Veil alongside PatMa Productions’ Denise Di Novi and Nina Tassler, plus Moss and Lindsey McManus under their Love & Squalor Pictures banner. It will be produced by FX Productions.

The thriller explores the fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London.

The series is Knight’s latest project for FX, furthering a partnership that began with Taboo and continued with A Christmas Carol and his upcoming limited series Great Expectations, starring Olivia Colman as Miss Havisham.
